Dental Crowns – strong, beautiful, natural

Sometimes a tooth needs a little extra help—whether it’s cracked, weakened after a root canal, or simply worn down. That’s where dental crowns come in. A crown is like a custom-made “cap” that fits perfectly over your tooth, protecting it while also restoring its natural look.

Worried about dental crowns? You’re not alone.

It’s normal to feel a little nervous before getting a crown—but most fears come from myths or outdated experiences. Here are the most common concerns, and the real truth:

“Will it hurt?”
Not at all. The tooth is numbed with local anesthesia, so the procedure is completely painless. Most patients only feel mild pressure, not pain.

“What about sensitivity?”
Some teeth may feel sensitive to hot or cold for a short time, but this usually disappears as the tooth settles.

“Will my dental crown look fake?”
Not anymore! Modern crowns are crafted from porcelain or zirconia and color-matched to your natural teeth. They blend in so well that nobody will notice.

How a dental crowns are made: step by step

Getting a crown might sound complicated, but the process is actually smooth and straightforward. Here’s what to expect:

  1. Examination & preparation
Our dr Mirela first checks the tooth and surrounding area. If needed, she removes any decay or old filling and shapes the tooth so the crown can fit securely.
  2. Digital scan or impression
Instead of messy molds, we now use digital scanners to create a precise 3D image of your tooth. This ensures a perfect fit and natural look.
  3. Temporary crown
While your permanent crown is being made, a temporary crown is placed to protect your tooth. It looks natural and keeps you comfortable.

Here you can see how good temporary crowns may look.

4. Dental crowns fabrication
In the dental lab, technicians craft your crown from high-quality porcelain, zirconia, or ceramic. Each crown is custom-made to match the shape, color, and shine of your natural teeth.

5. Fitting & adjustment
At your next visit, the temporary crown is removed and the permanent crown is tried on. Dr Mirela checks the bite, color, and comfort, making tiny adjustments if needed.

6. Cementing the crown
Once everything looks and feels right, the crown is bonded securely to your tooth with strong dental cement.

7. Final smile check
You’ll leave with a restored tooth that’s strong, comfortable, and looks completely natural.

The whole process is usually painless and takes just two visits (sometimes even one, with same-day crown technology).

“What about the cost?”

Dental crowns cost – quality and value

When it comes to dental crowns, quality is just as important as cost. Crowns of the same quality can vary in cost depending on whether you get them locally or abroad. Several factors influence the price, including the materials used, the lab and dentist’s expertise, and the brand of the crown.

Materials like porcelain, zirconia, or gold tend to be more expensive, while standard ceramic crowns may cost less. Labor, advanced technology, and production standards also affect pricing.

At our Queen clinic, we focus on providing dental crowns that combine excellent quality with fair and transparent pricing.

Investing in a dental crown isn’t just about cost – it’s about choosing a long-lasting, reliable, and beautiful solution for your smile. While crowns can be expensive in the U.S or Western Europe, our clinic offers the same high-quality treatment at a fraction of the price—without compromising on materials, technology, or expertise.

The cost depends on the type of dental crown you want as well as the tooth you are working on. The most demanding thing is to fit one crown on the front teeth in terms of color and shape, so that it matches the surrounding natural teeth.

The same is if you would like zour tooth to look completely like natural one. We need extra time for producing such a crown and it also costs more.

That’s why the cost of this dental crown is the highest, around 800 to 900 euro.

Usual price for dental crowns in our clinic is from 400.

If you need a crown, contact us now and schedule a consultation. When we see the situation, we will tell you the exact price that applies to your case.

Don’t worry, everything is transparent with us, but in order for it to be so clear, we must first see exactly what the situation is with your teeth.
